PHARMACOGNOSY, BOTANY
Feijoa leaves gathered from Feijoa sellowiana Berg. of Myrtaceae family on the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus were the object of this research. Establishment of morphological and anatomical features for diagnosis of feijoa leaves was the purpose of this work. Using macro- and microscopic analysis methods we have determined external and microdiagnostic features which can be used for development of authenticity of the feijoa leaves active parts.
Eryngium planum L. is one of biperennial plants and hemicryptophyte. It is successfully introduced in cultivation in CMW conditions. The plant reaches 70 cm. One plant can contain up to 16 000 seeds. It is possible to obtain about 4.9 t/ha of air-dry weight, 4.2 t/ha of roots, and 3.59 hwt/ha of seeds from 1 ha.
The article describes an implementation of plant drugs for oncological diseases treatment. It focuses on multicomponent combination herbal medicinal preparation, its therapeutic action, and supposed efficiency during its implementation with basic therapy for oncological disease.
We have carried out morphological and anatomical studies of Galanthus woronowii L., we have revealed diagnosis indices of lamina, stem, bulb and root. The leaf is hypostomal, dorsoventral, stomatal apparatus of paracytic and anisocytic type. The stem has a fascicular structure, with aerenchyma. The root has primary structure, with tetrarch conductive system. The bulb has a fascicular structure of conductive system with characteristic parenchimal sheath of conductive fascicles
PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNOLOGY AND BIOTECHNOLOGY
The article reviews the use of maltodextrine as one of the active substances in external drug forms which are used in purulent and inflammatory processes treatment abroad. The article considers a manufacturing prospect of import-substituting preparations on the basis of domestic maltodextrin
The article considers the issues of mineral waters modification with biogeneous metals nanoparticles, since they have extremely important meaning for human's organism and their production in green and biologically compliant form is hard to overestimate. Russian scientists discovered low toxicity of these nanomaterials. So the use of biogeneuos metals in form of nanoparticles allows lowering of their toxicity compared with its use in forms of ions.
We have carried out preliminary analysis of foreseeable biological activity of some compounds derivants of 4-oxopyrimidine with a use of PASS program. We have established that they should have anti-inflammatory, benzothiazepine, analgesic, hypotensive, nootropic activity.
Molecular docking method (Autodock 4.0) allowed modeling of interaction of 4-oxopyrimidine derivatives with GABA, dopamine and benzothiazepine receptors. On the basis of the data received we forecasted structures of N-aromatic derivatives of 4-oxopyrimidine. The derivatives of 4-xopyrimidine we received with a reaction of cyclocondensation of N-acyl-β-ketamides with aromatic amines. We have synthesized five compounds. Using IR, UV and NMR spectrometry we have established its presumable structure as well as some physical and optical parameters. We have elaborated methods of quantitative spectrophotometric determination of two synthesized compounds and made its validation estimation.
We have elaborated a methodology for quantitative determination of new biologically active derivative of GABA using UV spectrophotometry. The results obtained allowed us recommending this methodology for use in pharmaceutical analysis as excipient, and as drug dosage for quantitative analysis
There are results of experimental studies in the quality norms, stability study and establishment of shelf-life of cosmeceutical forms with CO2 extract of Schizandra chinensis seeds using UV spectr ophotometryand chromatographic analysis methods. The quality norms established may be recommended for normative documentation stipulation in future. The approximate shelf-life for the napkins under study was 24 months.
The article presents a study on the identification methodology elaboration of flavonoids in Sophora flavescens roots using chemical reaction and TLC method. We have also developed methods of quantitative determination of flavonoids sum into raw materials by differential spectrophotometry method.
We have developed a methodology of quantitative determination of sesquiterpenic lactones (costunolide and dehydrocostuslactone) in leaves of Laurus nobilis using reversed phase HPLC. We have determined optimal conditions for the substances under study extraction from active parts. Using the developed methods we have established that costunolide and dehydrocostuslactone content in Laurus nobilis samples in terms of absolutely dry active parts is 0.99 and 0.26% correspondingly.
PHARMACOLOGY AND CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY
During experiments with rats we have studied a dry extract of Scutellaria baicalensis georgi and carsil in vancomycin use. We have shown that vancomicyn use causes toxical damage of lever. We have experimentally proved the prospects of creation based on the dry extract of Scutellaria baicalensis georgi - preparation for hepatotoxical action of vancomycin correction
The article presents data about Fotosan device and its implementation in complex treatment of oral and labial muscosa diseases. The obtained results evidence that 84% of observed patients had significant reduction of pain, swellings and regeneration acceleration in 1.5 – 2 times
ORGANIZATION AND ECONOMY OF PHARMACY
The article focuses on the principal problems of healthcare delivery to population. The whole set of actions to resolve these problems, which can be taken by the results of scientific research. We have elaborated an algorithm of the research which included five interrelated stages.
The article shows the results of assortment analysis of drugs applied in rehabilitation treatment of neurology patients in departmental health centers injured in terrorist attacks.
Pathology of the liver occupies a leading place among the diseases of the digestive system. The situation requires more frequent assignment of hepatoprotectors. The aim of this work is the study of the classification, carrying out merchandising analysis of the assortment of hepatoprotectors of
plant origin. The researches revealed that assortment of hepatoprotectors is closely linked to objective factors: the location of pharmacies, the presence of large stores, by number, age, needs and purchasing power of the population. Also the range is influenced by subjective factors, for example, the activities of pharmacists engaged in replenishment assortment of drugs.
We have studied and analyzed one of the items of HR policy - personnel education - in this article. During the sociological research we have estimated its influence on efficiency of pharmacy organization staff work. We have outlined and studied 4 basic directions in personnel education.
